Mehil Agarwal

I am a computer science Ph.D. student at Portland State University, co-advised by Dr. Fang Song and Dr. Shravas Rao. My research is focused on theoretical computer science. My interests lie in the areas of complexity theory, lower bounds, quantum algorithms, and distributed quantum computing.

Previously, I was an undergradute at Electronics and Communications Department, National Institute of Technology, Calicut (NITC).

I am also recognized as a Qiskit Advocate by the Qiskit Community.

Research
I am working towards a survey of Distributed Quantum Computing, focusing on works discussing solving problems on an existing distributed system.
I am also working on showing tight lower bounds for various problems in the quantum query model.
